Anthony Edwards Should Request A Trade
Everybody else is the problem. Don’t listen to them, Anthony Edwards. In fact, if I were to be Edwards’ agent hypothetically, I’d be pressing for a trade now. No hair, don’t care if it’s hitting the panic button too soon. This Timberwolves team is the Titanic. We’re only hurting ourselves by waiting a half second longer by not jumping off into a lifeboat.
The Rudy Gobert trade is the worst trade in any sport. I’m not being superficial. Those are my real thoughts on it prior to the season. It doesn’t really matter that Minnesota is 2-2 on the season and fresh off an embarrassing loss to a tanking Spurs team. What matters is this experiment is already showing the failure warnings that are never going to go away.
Edwards has already come out and declare he prefers when the Timberwolves go small. Now we have this Karl Towns presser. Give this a listen.
Nope. We’re not doing this. If I’m representing Anthony Edwards, I’m getting him out now. We’ll make this ugly if we have to. Sometimes everybody else is the problem. Trey has a lot of experience with that. Edwards is a superduper star and we’re not going to put up with this nonsense.
Karl Towns doesn’t have to right to complain about anybody. Joel Embiid dummies you whenever he gets a chance. Jimmy Butler is better everywhere else he’s been without you. Ditto Andrew Wiggins. In a 3-ball shooting and spacing league, the Timberwolves went all in on two broken 7-footers that don’t fit the modern NBA. We’re not doing this. It’s past time to get Anthony Edwards out of there.
