2023 Summer Transfer Window Weekly Update: 08.08

Welcome back to yet another installment of the Vendetta Sports Media 2023 Summer Transfer Window Weekly Update!

This week, we will be looking at all of the confirmed transfers that happened between Aug. 1 and Aug. 7. To look at other confirmed transfers this window, check out last week’s update.

Now then, let’s hop into all of the juicy transfers that were confirmed last week.

Despite it being a relatively slow week for the Premier League, there were still some very big transfers that were confirmed. Manchester City finally completed the signing of Croatian defender Joško Gvardiol, adding additional depth to their backline ahead of this season. American defender Auston Trusty moved from Arsenal to the newly promoted Sheffield United. Chelsea and Manchester United also added big players to their squads this week.

La Liga Transfers

American-born Julián Araujo has moved on loan to Las Palmas from Barcelona. Hopefully for the Mexican international, this is the move that helps him get his footing in La Liga.

Ligue 1 Transfers

Gonçalo Ramos‘s move to PSG definitely highlights the confirmed transfers to Ligue 1 last week. While he is technically joining on a loan, this is just a formality, as he will permanently join the club for €80 million next year.
