Down 3 games to nothing in the NLCS, the St. Louis Cardinals are currently down 7-0 in the third inning against the Washington Nationals in game 4. I am shocked. I am embarrassed. My heart physically hurts right now. This is most as bad as when my ex got new boyfriend and posted a picture with him while wearing an Eagles jersey. Like we dated for a year and she never wore a birds jersey for me. That hurt. That hurt almost as bad as the Cardinals not being able to hit the god damn ball. Like How do you go from putting up a 10 run inning against the BEST young core in all of baseball to getting shut out in 3 of 4 games. Goddammit, people, I’m shook. I understand that the Nats have had one of the best starting pitching rotations for the last several years, but their bullpen is horrible. It’s fine. I’m fine. Phillies didn’t make the playoffs, Eagles look like dog shit playing with a secondary made up of what looks like high schoolers, the Cardinals got swept, I blew it with my ex, and to make matters worse the Eagles lost out on Jalen Ramsey. Sports wise it looks my life is headed for a Curse of the Bambino streak. On the bright side Don Chach is back pushing out content on the reg people, and SIXERS BASKETBALL IS A WEEK AWAY!
