Vendetta Sports Media is breaking down all 32 teams by their SimBull value. Next up: the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs have been a fantastic team for a few years now, especially since Patrick Mahomes has become a perennial MVP candidate. You can read the last breakdown here.
Patrick Mahomes. End of sentence. Mahomes is a freak of nature and has changed the way people evaluate quarterbacks – he alone is going to keep this team relevant for the next decade. The best investments are the organizations or companies led by the right people at the top, and the Kansas City Chiefs have two of those individuals. Andy Reid is a hall of fame coach, and him having the opportunity to mold Mahomes into a team leader is great for SimBull Chiefs investors.
The Bengals are still the most expensive team in the stock market, but the Chiefs are not far behind, sitting just a nickel under $50 a share. Unlike the Bengals however, this team has a legitimate reason to be a high price share. That being said, buying high is not usually an efficient investment strategy.
This is a team that is set up for the long-term success that franchises and fans dream about, but from an investor’s perspective, buying them is a tough decision to make. They are going to win games this season, but their ROI for wins is small in comparison to other SimBull teams, and that is what I look for when buying shares in the market.
