You’re An Idiot If You Thought Tommy DeVito Had Talent

It looks like the Tommy DeVito era is already over. DeVito has been benched in favor of Tyrod Taylor for the rest of the season. I’m just not sure why anybody is surprised. You should know that if you bought into this Tommy DeVito thing for a singular second… you are dumber than a bag of rocks.

This entire DeVito thing was a complete joke. He should have never even been on an NFL roster. Nothing DeVito did in college would tell you that he’s an NFL player. He stunk at Syracuse. He stunk at Illinois. It was not a conspiracy why he didn’t get drafted. He is nothing more than a training camp invite. That’s the truth. 

Let’s just be honest about the skillset here. The guy has zero ability to make a throw from the pocket. In seven starts, DeVito eclipsed the 200-yard passing mark once. That was against the dumpster fire Commanders. A team that has given the Giants two of their five total wins. 

DeVito only has two other wins. A 10-7 garbage fight win against the Patriots where Chad Ryland lost New England the game. His other win is against the Packers. A win that should have never happened. Joe Berry is a dope and just let DeVito escape the pocket and pick up 71 rushing yards on ten carries that shifted the landscape of the game. 

Nothing about DeVito screams NFL quarterback. Nothing. Giving this sideshow any media attention is more embarrassing than when Jeremy Lin had his run. Lin was actually a decent player at the height of his powers. DeVito is nothing more than a scrub who was given a tryout and got away with some smoke and mirrors because his coach is really smart. That’s all this was. 

If you’re smart, you understand this entire DeVito thing is nothing more than sideshow Bob. It won’t last long and DeVito will be out of the league entirely very shortly. I’m just simply asking that we stop with this nonsense.

Can we all agree to be done with this? Tommy DeVito is a joke. The Giants franchise is an even bigger joke for allowing this media buzz to happen. Maybe it’s all a distraction from the fact that this franchise has egg on their face from paying Daniel Jones. Something I also advised them not to do.

All this team has done is lie to their fan base. Their fan base allows it to happen because their not educated enough to recognize the truth. Sad…
