WWE Royal Rumble 2023 Betting Odds

WWE Royal Rumble is shaping up to be a blockbuster pay-per-view. We have the Men’s and Women’s Rumble matches, the first ever Mountain Dew Pitch Black match, a Women’s title showdown, and Roman Reigns colliding with Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE World Championship.

When it comes to sports betting in terms of wrestling, be cautious of following storylines closely to make accurate bets. All of the odds below come from Betonline.ag.

Men’s Royal Rumble Match: Cody Rhodes (-160), Sami Zayn (+200)

Cody Rhodes stands as the consensus popular pick for the 30-man Royal Rumble event.

It would not be the first time a returning Superstar took home the honor. After all, prior to his torn pectoral injury that sidelined him for months, no wrestler was more over than Rhodes in his return to the company in 2022. He is looking to rebound from injury and fulfill his promise to his father, the late and great Dusty Rhodes, by becoming World Champ.

Meanwhile, Sami Zayn comes in as the second-best odds despite not even being announced as an entrant for the event yet. He would be my pick as a shoo-in to not only show up to the match but show out. This is all leading up to another display of epic long-term storytelling in the WWE. I think we may see Sami Zayn unseat the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns.

Women’s Royal Rumble Match: Rhea Ripley (-140), Becky Lynch (+300)

Rhea Ripley comes in as the odds-on favorite to win the Royal Rumble. This would be a huge win for Judgment Day as they desperately need to climb the ranks somehow to be taken seriously as a faction. Fans will judge harshly if the outcome is any different.

Becky Lynch has the second-best odds to win the Royal Rumble and it would make her the only Woman to win the event twice.

If I was a betting man, I would not count on history being made Saturday Night in this fashion. Go with Ripley for the win as she is in most need of the push.

Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match: Bray Wyatt (-1000) vs. LA Knight (+500)

Bray Wyatt enters Saturday Night as an overwhelming favorite to win the first-ever Mountain Dew Pitch Black match. It makes too much sense, right? It’s his idea for the match type and all the hype surrounding the event has pointed to him being victorious possibly with the hand of the mysterious Uncle Howdy at play.

My biggest upset pick of the night is to take LA Knight at +500 for the win. There is too much potential in his act, one of the best on the mic today and it’s due time for a massive push. People are quick to forget his historic run in Impact Wrestling. Well, yeah, dummy. I do think Uncle Howdy plays a role here, but not in Bray’s favor.

WWE Women’s Title Match: Bianca Belair (-1000) vs. Alexa Bliss (+500)

The odds-on pick seems to be for Bianca Belair to conquer a demon of sorts in Alexa Bliss at the Rumble. Despite weeks of mind games and chaos with Uncle Howdy, the EST will overcome all that to retain her coveted belt.

I am shocked that the odds are so stacked against Bliss here. She has been built up for this moment for months now and I have to disagree with the current stakes. Give me Alexa Bliss in a seemingly shocking upset. I believe she will not only beat Belair but put her on the shelf for a bit.

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns (-5000) vs. Kevin Owens (+1000)

The Tribal Chief should be the favorite here and overwhelmingly at that, as there are little doubts he will not retain. We have to remember just what WWE creative is building here and Owens is just a temporary hurdle to him main-eventing Mania once again.

Owens is an incredible wrestler and no disrespect to him in saying this, but it is not believable that he will be the one to end Reigns’ insane reign. The KO show and the Tribal Chief will put on an instant classic, but you bet your house on the champ this time around.
