It Would Appear Rob Manfred Is Covering UP PED Use From Mike Trout

Rob, Rob, Rob. Oh, did you really fucked yourself. I knew this wouldn’t end well for you. I wrote a couple of days ago that Rob Manfred should be ashamed of himself for this entire Astros cheating scandal. His biggest mistake was not actually finding out the Astros cheating scandal himself. The flood gates got set open when in the first sentence of his report, he credited former Astros pitcher, Mike Fiers, for the information. Fiers only snitched on his team because he was mad Houston didn’t re-sign him.

What dummy Rob didn’t realize is he opened the flood gates. Snitches are supposed to get stitches. The second he legitimized Fiers’ story (true or untrue) he turned MLB into the 4th grade class where the one kid in the class told the teacher about a cheating scheme that involved everybody. By the minute, more and more people come forward with information that otherwise wouldn’t.

It would now appear that Rob Manfred covered up PED use from Mike Trout because he didn’t want the fans to know that the sport’s best players was on steriods.

Rob, Rob, Rob. I knew this wouldn’t end well for you. I just knew it. WTF were you thinking? All you had to do is sweep this under the rug like Adam Silver did with tampering.

Tell teams “shut the fuck up, stealing signs has been in the game forever. There’s nothing I can do about it. I don’t even have a defined rule or punishment for it. If anything goes public, we will fine somebody and keep it moving. We can’t turn this into a black eye for the sport. We’re struggling for viewers already. Attendance and TV ratings are down. We can’t have controversy right now.”

NOPE. That’s not what Rob did. Instead, he did it in the dumbest way possible. He ran with Mike Fiers’ story instead of doing his own investigation and claiming he found this stuff on his own. He legitimized a snitch and let people keep tattling on others. Now he fucked himself. If this Mike Trout story is true, he’s a goner. Trout will get suspended and we’re going to be looking for a new commissioner.
