Why You Shouldn’t Trust Mainstream NFL Draft “Experts”

I just think so many things can be related back to Ted Lasso. I made a Ted Lasso comparison in the last video breakdown I did about Shawne Merriman, but that’s a topic for another day. On the recent live stream I did, a really important topic really needed to be broken down. You’re a lunatic if you trust any of these mainstream NFL Draft “experts”. ALL of them are frauds.

Speaking of Ted Lasso, I think the closest comparison to me that I’ve ever seen in a TV show or movie is Roy Kent. Peep this for some more of our past content.

This clip right here from when Roy Kent quit Sky Sports sums up exactly what’s wrong with the sports media industry. I love this clip so much because I’m pretty positive nobody else in the media beyond Trey would say something like this.

At the end of the day, nobody knows. Only the Chinese Farmer knows. However, if we can use the power of the Chinese Farmer hard enough, we can and will find the correct answer.

It’s why I’m the only man in America who said Bucky Irving was the best running back in the draft.

It’s why nobody was higher than me on Ladd McConkey.

You’re welcome, by the way, if you took my advice this past draft season because you probably won a lot of fantasy leagues if you did.

Smart people learn from their mistakes. The smartest people learn from other people’s mistakes. I’ve been doing this for a long time and have been learning from everybody else’s mistakes in preparation for when one of these teams is smart enough to hire me.

Today, I’m reminding you to evaluate the evaluator. The truth of the matter is, the mainstream people who cover the NFL Draft are totally clueless.

There 4 types of scouts.

1: Poor scout. Knows nothing. Is totally uneducated.

2: The Picker scout. He picks at one thing and can’t let it go to his own detriment. For example, maybe someone runs a very fast 40 time but they’re not actually good at football. The picker scout looks at that one thing and makes the incorrect determination because of it.

3: The Production scout. Everything is numbers based. They look at their chart and make decisions based on it. This method often lacks accountability and is a big reason why most baseball teams fail today. Numbers determine everything they do and the numbers very much do lie. There is always context within every number.

4: The Projection scout. These people are the best at forecasting the future. It’s important to remember that then is then and now is now. These are the only types of people who are your worth your time if you’re trying to educate yourself. It’s also important to remember with any player, we’re looking at snapshots in moment of time. The people who can thrive in these areas usually have the best ability to see what’s coming.

I would categorize all four of the examples I listed out in the video as type one (poor scouts) and not worth your time. Most of those you see on TV fall into that category.

The truth will set you free. But first it will piss you off. Are you willing to accept the truth or are you stupid enough to continue to allow yourself to be lied to? The choice is yours.
