Why Do Laker Fans Think Talen Horton-Tucker Has Value?
There are delusional fans. Then there are Laker fans. Somehow they’re a layer beneath delusion. I’m not really in the mud with social media fan bases. However, the Talen Horton-Tucker thing is nonsense. I can’t believe it’s a thing. Do they actually think their trade packages make sense? Do they know it’s obvious they’re trying to con us?
I’m not going to show you all the ridiculous trade packages the Laker fans put together online. I would never do that to you the reader. Instead, I’ll just show one tweet that perfectly summarizes what the Laker fans are doing.
It’s perfect because this is literally how all the Laker fans act online. If you’re not a baseball fan and don’t know who Juan Soto is, it’s very easy to understand. He’s arguably the best player in the sport currently playing his age 23 season. We’re still not sure if Soto will be traded by the deadline but you can read my post on it here.
Do Laker fans understand that THT is a nobody with no trade value? Worst of all, he comes with a bad contract. Nobody wants THT for more than $10 million per season. Especially when year two comes with a player option that he won’t turn down based on performance level.
We’re talking about a former second round pick that’s shown almost nothing with limited athletic traits and bad shooting numbers. THT is a career 27.6% shooting from 3-point range in his career. Nobody wants him. Nobody needs him. There is no value to be had here. If THT wasn’t a Laker, nobody would know who he is.
I’ve gotten to the point where I just mute all of them the second I see that nonsense. The Laker fans need a reality check. This is what happens when you do business with LeBron. You’re left with nothing begging for someone to pick up Talen Horton-Tucker. It must suck to suck.
It’s just time that we realize the delusional Laker fans are a detriment to society and I’m open to suggestions for how to rid them from the world.
