ESPN’s attempt to replace Matthew Berry is going very poorly. I never thought Berry was irreplaceable but boy is ESPN doing their best to portray that is the case. Berry has called ESPN archaic in the way they do fantasy football content and he’s very much winning the divorce. Eric Moody is part of the poo poo club tasked with replacing Berry. The only thing he’s done thus far is expose himself as a dope.
We’re all waiting for this to happen. When will Eric Moody apologize for his egregious Davis Mlls, Brandin Cooks take? We can’t allow people to forget because it’s something that should discredit Moody on everything he does moving forward.
*fantasy finishes according to Fantasy Pros
2021 Matthew Stafford QB6
2021 Cooper Kupp WR1
2022 Davis Mills QB23
2022 Brandin Cooks WR55
It was a bananas take at the time and everybody with a brain knew it. There is no hindsight bias involved. I called out Moody at the time and it went exactly how we all thought it would. The Texans for sure didn’t win the Super Bowl and Mills / Cooks never sniffed top 10 finishes for their respective position.
We’re all still waiting. ESPN hired a dope. An unaccountable dope. It’s a take so bad that nobody should ever take this guy seriously again. Furthermore, the fact that he still hasn’t said a word about this speaks everything about his character. Had I led my fan base astray this bad, I’d have to put out a statement about it. I just want to know what he’s waiting for?
