In a situation where a team can only have one of each, give me the one elite pass rusher over one elite coverage player. This is because it’s much easier to make a single elite corner or safety irrelevant than it is to make one elite pass rusher irrelevant. There’s no easy answer to this. Give me an elite pass rusher over an elite defensive back, and give me an elite secondary unit over an elite pass-rushing unit. At the end of the day, both help each other.
