Watch: Pat McAfee Has A Great Rant Why You Should Watch Hockey
We here at Vendetta Sports Media greatly value the sport of hockey. We post a ton of content in that section and want hockey fans to know that they can trust our brand. I can’t speak for other companies like the trash network that Bill Simmons runs who doesn’t even try in that area. With that said, ESPN owns the broadcasting rights for the NHL and they have obviously tasked Pat McAfee with trying to grow viewership.
The former Colts punter does a hell of a job with this rant. He goes over a bunch of reasons why you should be watching this sport on a nightly basis. McAfee being able to show highlights since ESPN owns the rights definitely gives him a leg up trying to cover the sport now.
I’ll let you enjoy the video. Let me know in the comments below what you think of McAfee’s rant. Personally, I think the best part is when he talks about the culture of the sport. The fights and the way guys back their teammates. It’s just not found in any other sport to this level.
One thing that McAfee excluded that I want to touch on quickly. Fantasy hockey is really fun and gives you something to watch for along with the games. We also have the best fantasy hockey content on the internet and you’re guaranteed to win your league if you listen to me. I’m still undefeated soooo. Something to keep in mind.
