Ben Sinnott 2024 NFL Draft Profile
A tight end with a background in hockey? Yes, that’s right. Ben Sinnott is next on deck for the 2024 NFL Draft Profile series. Let’s talk about the former Kansas State product as we gear up for the draft.
The Waterloo, Iowa native was a zero star recruit coming out of high school. Checks in at 6-foot-4, 250. Not someone super thought of coming into college but is fairly athletic. We saw that at the Combine. Ran a 4.68 and jumped 40 inches. Was also at the Senior Bowl but I don’t have any notes on the guy. Just didn’t do a ton to stand out there.
Kinda looks like an H-back. Think he can play some fullback. Just a football guy. Looks like he has good feet on him. Can get open and comes with okay play speed. 2023 was his best year notching 49 receptions for 676 yards and six touchdowns.
Not sure he’s an ace blocker but he’s tough and can actually run routes. His overall foot speed is up to par. Did a nice job at just being a security blanket and moving the sticks at K-State. Doesn’t really mess around and has good self-awareness. Knows what he is and just does it. Has gotten bigger and really developed during his time in college. Versatile player that can line up in a bunch of different spots. Bit stiff and lacks long speed.
I have an undrafted grade on Ben Sinnott but I do think he’s intriguing. Dart throw tight end that could pan out to be something. Just wouldn’t be surprised if he turns into nothing either.
