Watch: New Gotham Knights Character Trailer Presents Red Hood

The excitement around Warners Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s Gotham Knights game continues to grow with the release date just around the corner. The action role-playing game, which features single-player and multiple-player modes, will be dropping on gaming platforms on Oct. 21, 2022. The last character gameplay trailer had Batgirl take center stage, but now it is Red Hood’s turn. The main characters in Gotham Knights consist of Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, and Red Hood. Gamers will use this quartet of heroes to clean up the streets of Gotham and defend the city from evil. 

Gotham Knights takes place after Batman and Commissioner Gordon have died, but the same iconic villains are still roaming the streets and causing chaos. This game should be a treat for Batman fans as it will allow players to explore an expansive and interactive Gotham City. The fantastic graphics and engaging fighting mechanics will allow gamers to fully immerse themselves in the fight for the future of Gotham.

In the trailer, Red Hood is shown demolishing enemies with his aggressive and brutal fighting style. He is displayed in a stylish outfit with his iconic mask, but it appears gamers will have multiple different masks to choose from in the game. It would seem that Red Hood, like the other protagonists, will have multiple different costumes allowing players to customize the heroes. 

Red Hood’s strength and skill are depicted in this trailer as he can be seen defeating enemies with tactical hand-to-hand combat and a keen use of weapons. In a voiceover, he acknowledges the pain he endured in the past but states he will try his hardest to continue the campaign against evil that Batman started.

Background Information On Red Hood

Red Hood, aka Jason Todd, is a vigilante that is definitely the most intense and aggressive of the group. He had a violent death, but he was resurrected by one of Batman’s enemies and Red Hood now lives with this pain every day. He is a courageous and hot-headed hero that is determined to put an end to the corruption in Gotham. 

Red Hood has extreme human strength similar to Batman as he has trained his body to near human perfection. He has elite skills in multiple different fighting techniques and vast knowledge of how to use a multitude of weapons. He can use older weapons or more high-tech weapons like two main pistols that use nonlethal bullets. Gamers can use Red Hood to continue Batman’s mission of saving Gotham from evil when Gotham Knights comes out next month.
