Under Maintenance

Last summer, the Minnesota Timberwolves shocked the world when they traded for Utah Jazz big Rudy Gobert –especially because of how much they gave up (spoiler: it was a lot). Gobert’s fit next to Karl-Anthony Towns, on paper, isn’t the cleanest.
But we weren’t able to see much of the duo together last season due to a calf injury that limited Towns to just 29 games. Anthony Edwards and the Wolves barely made the playoffs before getting eliminated by the eventual champion Denver Nuggets. Can this squad, if healthy, compete in the Wild Wild West? Matt Hanifan and Jackson answer that and more in their 2023-24 season preview here!
