Vendetta Picks: 2023 NFL Week 7 Betting Lines And Predictions
Oh boy, what a week we had last week! Over double-digit wins is a huge win in both trying to pull away in our Vendetta competition, but also just for the fact that we are well into the positive for the year. And here we are with our NFL Week 7 betting lines and predictions. Let’s carry the momentum and continue our winning streak!
Overall Record Through Week 6:
Jackson: 54-38-1
Sabin: 52-40-1
Chick: 52-40-1
Griff: 50-41-1
Garrett: 49-43-1
Matt: 46-45-1
New Orleans Saints (-1.5) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (+1.5)
Saints: Matt Jaguars: Jackson, Chick, Garrett, Sabin, Griff
We start the NFL week 7 betting lines with an interesting matchup. It almost feels like free money right? This line might have something to do with an injury to Trevor Lawrence, but all signs indicate that he will play on Thursday. The Prince and gang roll over New Orleans.
Indianapolis Colts (+2.5) vs. Cleveland Browns (-2.5)
Colts: Matt Browns: Jackson, Chick, Garrett, Sabin, Griff
Anthony Richardson is done for the season. That’s killer for Indy’s chances to really do anything this season. Might be a good idea to tank a little and get a nice draft pick to fill out the roster. The Browns have one of the best defenses in the league, a fact that will carry Cleveland, and other defensive teams, to victory this week.
New York Giants (+2.5) vs. Washington Commanders (-2.5)
Giants: Sabin Commanders: Jackson, Chick, Garret, Matt, Griff
The Giants are playing bad right now. I know they kept it close against the Bills last week, but that feels like it says more about the Bills rather than New York. Commanders had a good win last week and will extend their hot winning streak to two.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2.5) vs. Atlanta Falcons (+2.5)
Buccaneers: Jackson, Matt, Chick, Garrett, Griff Falcons: Sabin
The Falcons need a new quarterback. Desmond Ridder just isn’t going to cut it. The Bucs have a lot of questions also, but a lot less than Atlanta. I think this could probably be a double-digit loss for Atlanta.
New England Patriots (+8.5) vs. Buffalo Bills (-8.5)
Patriots: Matt Bills: Jackson, Chick, Garrett, Griff, Sabin
I do not care that the Bills played badly this past week. There are a lot of questions we need to ask about Josh Allen and the rest of the Bills squad, but they should 100% cover against Mac freaking Jones. If they can’t, then we can’t take the Bills seriously from a betting perspective for the rest of the season.
Chicago Bears (+3) vs. Las Vegas Raiders (-3)
Raiders: Everyone
What an absolute disgrace of a football game. This will be the worst game of any on the NFL week 7 betting lines plate. What makes me lean in Las Vegas is because of the defense. This game might look like a baseball score but as long as the Raiders cover we will be fine.
Baltimore Ravens (-3) vs. Detroit Lions (+3)
Ravens: Matt Lions: Jackson, Chick, Garrett, Griff, Sabin
It’s so hard to stop betting and rooting for the Lions. The Ravens have been so up and down that even if Baltimore wins, I really do think Detroit can keep it within a field goal.
Los Angeles Rams (-3) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (+3)
Rams: Everyone
As of finishing typing this post, it was announced that TJ Watt did not practice today. I was still leaning toward the Rams beforehand, but no Watt no way for Pittsburgh.
Seattle Seahawks (-7.5) vs. Arizona Cardinals (+7.5)
Seahawks: Everyone
It’s hard to gauge where the Seahawks are at as a team. Some weeks they look good, others not. I think out of the six previous weeks, I’ve only won one or two games concerning Seattle. Nonetheless, I still like them to be better than a TD over Arizona.
Kansas City Chiefs (-5.5) vs. Los Angeles Chargers (+5.5)
Chiefs: Jackson, Garrett, Chick, Matt, Griff Chargers: Sabin
Brandon Staley is still the head coach of the Chargers.
Denver Broncos (+1.5) vs. Green Bay Packers (-1.5)
Broncos: Jackson, Garrett, Chick Packers: Matt, Sabin, Griff
This game will give Chicago vs. Vegas a run for its money as the worst game of the NFL week 7 betting lines. I’m really not happy about this pick.
Philadelphia Eagles (-2) vs. Miami Dolphins (+2.
Eagles: Matt, Chick, Garrett, Griff Dolphins: Jackson, Sabin
It’s odd to say that this is a must-win for both teams. Both Philadelphia and Miami are 5-1 but are coming off different highs and lows. Miami has such a powerful offense, but the defense has been pretty lackluster. Philadelphia has struggled most of the season and Jalen Hurts is coming off probably the worst game of his career against the New York Jets. That loss to New York might have lit a fire under Philly, but Miami is out to prove itself as a legitimate threat in the NFL. As a good and loyal fin, I will ride or die with my Phins.
Minnesota Vikings (+7) vs. San Francisco 49ers (-7)
Vikings: Griff, Garrett 49ers: Jackson, Chick, Matt, Sabin
Prime time Kirko and everyone for the 49ers will be healthy.
