Jordan Morgan 2024 NFL Draft Profile
Arizona’s Jordan Morgan is next up to receive their 2024 NFL Draft profile. Morgan has become a trendy name since the NFL Combine, which is odd seeing that he did not do any of the drills. He also started moving up boards for some reason after a lackluster Senior Bowl. This Offensive Line class is loaded, and Morgan has been mentioned towards the top of the class, but is that a mistake that NFL teams should avoid? Let’s talk about it.
Morgan, a former three-star recruit out of Marana, Arizona committed to play for the Wildcats in 2019. Most notable thing to take away from Morgan’s Arizona career is how he rebounded from a torn ACL in 2022. Morgan returned from injury and ended up earning himself All-Pac12 honors in his final season with the school.
Jordan Morgan is being overhyped. I’m worried that scouts and media folks are drooling over his frame (6’5, 311/ 81 in arms) but aren’t paying enough attention to Christian Jones out of Texas, who we have already covered. The length allows him to land first contact, which is a plus, but he isn’t overly strong enough to overpower anyone. Kind of stinks in run blocking, which would be passable if he excelled in pass pro, but he doesn’t.
Jordan Morgan just doesn’t do it for me. Not really itching my brain in a good way. I’ve seen mocks that have him going in the top 50, which is absurd. I have a fourth-round grade on Morgan, and if I was a GM and saw someone else take him with a premium, round-two pick, I would not be able to stop laughing. You can have him.
