Trysta Krick is Leaving Barstool Sports

Barstool Sports personality Trysta Krick is leaving the company effective on Friday. The announcement was made live on Stool Streams by play-by-play broadcaster Jake Marsh.

Krick has made the headlines at Barstool on several occasions, most recently when she was suspended from The Dozen Trivia Show by Jeff D. Lowe after accusations of cheating were confirmed true.

Krick has been working for Barstool Sports since November of 2019 when she was brought on after being fired from USA Today. Her introduction at Barstool was on episode 234.5 of Stool Scenes that saw both Krick and Dave Portnoy interviewed. The THIS LEAGUE podcast host was, at the time, auditioning to see how she fit into the culture at Barstool. Soon after that appearance she was fired by USA Today, with Krick saying that the journalistic juggernaut claimed she made “disparaging” comments on-air with Portnoy. The following day she was hired.

While Krick’s departure certainly comes as a shock, the Barstool community doesn’t seem too upset.

And to add insult to injury, after announcing Krick’s departure live, Barstool producer and personality Hank Lockwood ended the cornhole match between herself and Barstool Pat. Lockwood claimed that the soon-to-be-former Barstool podcast host was “throwing the match” and was therefore disqualified. In a tweet Stool Steams said:

“Integrity always has been and always will be a part of the Triple S.”

With her confirmed departure, Krick joins social media manager Tyler O’Day as another summer exit. Krick’s future has not been disclosed, but her time as a podcast host and lead NBA expert with Barstool Sports has officially come to an end.
