Top 5 NBA Duos Don Chach is Pumped For
The NBA is finally balanced for the first time in literally years and I don’t think I could be more excited about 2019-2020! Like seriously the last time it hasn’t been this even since Durant signed with Golden State. It’s a league of super duos and I’m so pumped I’m about to tell you about the top 5 NBA Duos I am most excited to see. This is not my duo ranking blog, that’ll be out next week you jackals.
#5 Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton: Phoenix Suns
This may be one of the most slept on duos in the entire NBA because of the fact that the Phoenix Suns are complete dog crap. Ayton, I feel has the potential to be a dominant big in this league after having a great rookie year where he averaged 16 PPG and 10 RPG. Not the year that many of us were expecting from the number one pick out of Arizona, but he still has so much room to grow. At 7’1” DeAndre has
#4 Kawhi Leonard and Paul George: Los Angeles Clippers
Obviously, the Clippers have the best team not only in
#3 Zion and Zo: New Orleans Pelicans
Now, this is going to be fun, man. I’m already visioning Lonzo to Zion oops off the glass and it’s giving me literal goosebumps man. Lonzo is going to have a hell of a season next year. The oldest Ball brother has been slept on since his disappointing rookie year where he only averaged 10 PPG. Last year he suffered through not only injuries but playing with Lebron who forced him to try and play out of his comfort zone. Lonzo is going to have a year next year man, he’s my early pick for Most Improved. I’m not 100% sold on Zion yet and its nothing against him. The kid is humble, poised, and seems like an all-around down to earth 19-year-old. The main questions I have is his weight and how will he be able to deal with the pressures that have been put on him since he was in high school. I think that this duo is going to be a lot of fun to watch and I think it has the potential to take the Pelicans to the Playoffs.
#2 James Harden and Russel Westbrook: Huston Rockets
WE GOT A REUNION IN H-TOWN!! But who cares man…? I’m not a huge Russell Westbrook fan in all honesty and playing with James Harden may not be the best situation. Both players need to have the ball in their hands to be dominate and neither are defensive forces. I think that this is going to be such a disappointing duo and, in all honesty, it hurts the Rockets as a team. The reason they’re even on the list is because of all the hype around them. I think this is going to be such a disaster and that’s why I am pumped to watch them crash and burn.
#1 Ben “Money Bags” Simmons and Joel “The Process” Embiid: Philadelphia Sixers
