I got the top 10 Christmas cookies for you just in time for Christmas. Every Christmas season your mom always goes on some baking kick and maybe you do as well. But if you are not baking cookies from this list what’s the point?

The Top 10 Christmas Cookies Starts With Spots 10-8.

At number 10 we got Oatmeal Raisin cookies. Some people really like them others hate them. Personally, I don’t mind them if they are there I’ll eat one or two. However, I’m not going out of my way to grab them.

At number 9 we got good ol’ Gingy, the Gingerbread cookie. Easily the most talked-about holiday cookie. Every year when December rolls around this mainly decorative cookie pops in your head. Don’t lie you know it’s true. However, does anyone really eat the Gingerbread cookies? I don’t think so. I know I don’t. Gingy made the list for popularity alone.

At number 8 we got an Italian classic, Biscotti. This classic cookie is mostly served with coffee after dinner. If you grew up in an Italian household, you know what I’m talking about. Never ate them until I was in my late teens but have this with some espresso after a big Christmas dinner. You have had one hell of a holiday.

Christmas Cookies Number 7-5.

At number 7 we got the Shortbread cookie. There’s nothing like a fresh baked Shortbread cookie. I know you all have had those Girl Scout one’s. The blue box cookies. Well, try them freshly baked and it’s a game changer.

At number 6 we have a spin on the Oatmeal Raisin, the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookie. If you have never had an Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookie I highly suggest you get one. adding chocolate and taking out the raisin elevate the Oatmeal base to a new level. Get yourself a freshly baked one and thank me later.

At number 5 we got the Snickerdoodle cookie. Snickerdoodle is a top-notch cookie. A soft baked one with crisp edges always hits the spot. I’m a sucker for cinnamon sugar which makes this cookie. Making these cookies from scratch will have your house smelling great and get you in the Christmas spirit.

The Final Four Cookies.

At number 4 we got another Italian classic and the most iconic Italian cookie, the Rainbow Cookie. Everyone loves these cookies, myself included. Go down to your local Italian bakery and grab a box of these for yourself. These multi-colored cookies are not only delicious but they are really cool to look at.

At number 3 we got the Peanut Butter Hershey Kiss Cookie. Peanut Butter and a Hershey Kiss there is no better combination. This is one of my favorite cookies to have around Christmas. Baking these masterpieces yourself is one of the best things you can do.

At number 2 we got the Sugar Cookie. Now the reason the Sugar Cookie is so high is because no matter who you talk to no one dislikes this holiday favorite. It may not be anyone’s favorite, but it definitely is a cookie no one will complain about. It is one of my favorite cookies to make and deserves the two spot.

At number 1, The undisputed, reigning, best holiday cookie in the world, The Chocolate Chip Cookie. Most commonly everyone’s favorite cookie and there isn’t a soul on Earth that flat out doesn’t like Chocolate Chip. If they don’t they’re not human and have no soul. This soft cookie with crispy edges and warm center is just amazing and can’t be beaten. It’s Santa’s favorite cookie so it must be yours too.

Making this list has know given me one hell of a sweet tooth. I hope you get in the Christmas spirit yourself and start baking for the family. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
