Everything was crystal clear in watching the season opener between the Bucs and the Cowboys, Tony Pollard is the lead fantasy back for the Cowboys this year in 2021. I’ve seen everything that I have needed to see. The number of touches that Zeke got compared to Tony Pollard was ridiculous. If you drafted him super early in your fantasy draft or spent a shit ton of money on him in your auction league, I’m sorry. That’s just wasted value. Now, if you’ve seen this coming and went and got Pollard, I applaud you. Way to see that shit coming.
Do you think I’m kidding? Look at the difference between the two during this game. Tony Pollard had 4 receptions and 29 yards, while also rushing 3 times for 14 rushing yards. Totaling out at 43 yards. While Ezekiel Elliott had 11 rushing attempts for 33 yards and 2 receptions for 6 yards. You can expect this trend to continue throughout the season. With Pollard’s numbers increasing and Ezekiel Elliott’s decreasing. It says a lot when Zeke had twice as many touches as Pollard but Pollard had more yards. Don’t be a fool, the proof is in the pudding.
If you think this is an overreaction, it’s not. Ezekiel Elliott wasn’t good last year without Dak Prescott, now it looks like Tony Pollard has taken over. Pollard is the guy you need to invest in. Try to trade for him in your leagues for the lowest ball offer you can get him for. He’ll be more valuable than Ezekiel Elliott this year.
