The Last Dance is over so ESPN is on to make another documentary. This time shifting from the greatest basketball player ever to the greatest football player ever. The Tom Brady documentary is on the way. ESPN will host a 9 part series on Brady and the Patriots which will be released in 2021.
“I have quoted Theodore Roosevelt’s ‘Man in the Arena’ speech since I saw it painted on our weight room wall at UM in 1995. It’s a constant reminder to ignore the noise, buckle my chinstrap, and battle through whatever comes my way.”
(ESPN) – Tom Brady provides a first-hand account of his most iconic moments and the pivotal events that paved his journey in the new 9-episode series “‘Man in the Arena: Tom Brady.” Coming to ESPN in 2021.
Since the documentary is coming out next year, I would assume there is going to be no material shown from the Bucs. The trailer doesn’t provide a ton of foreshadowing either. I would assume it’s going to be similar to The Last Dance. It will feature Brady’s career and do a deep dive on the Super Bowl runs. Who knows. I’ll watch it and I know everyone else will considering how great The Last Dance was.
They will have plenty of content to go on. Brady has been in the league for 20 years. His journey as a 6th round pick to becoming the winningest quarterback ever is a great story. Let’s hope that it delivers like The Last Dance did.
