Stephen A Smith Wants Kevin Garnett On First Take

The loud mouth talk show hosts are trying a new approach. Both Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless have realized that nobody wants to spend an extended period of time with them. Both are dumb as rocks and I’m sure it becomes difficult not to punch either in the face when you’re with them every day. Instead it’s going to be a revolving door of guests.

Stephen A is currently pushing for this approach with Shannon Sharpe. Skip Bayless has copied it with bringing on Lil Wayne, Richard Sherman (link), and Rachel Nichols (link).

Stephen A continues to list his wish list for First Take. It appears that Kevin Garnett is very high on his priority list to get on First Take.

“I would tell you this, the person that I would love to sit on a set with me or across from me any day of the week is Kevin Garnett,” Smith said. “Cause he’s a real one. First of all, being real is one thing, but your ability to articulate your position with presence and force matters. 

“Now we would have to talk to KG because FCC airwaves, this brother sometimes doesn’t pay attention to that but that’s the deal with him.”

As of right now, Kendrick Perkins, JJ Redick, Chris “Mad Dog” Russo, Dan Orlovsky, Domonique Foxworth, Kimberley Martin, Marcus Spears, Mina Kimes, and Ryan Clark are on ESPN’s roster that have contributed to First Take in the past. As we round into football season, time will tell what that guest list looks like on a weekly basis.
