We are nearly done analyzing the best buys by division on SimBull NFL. The second to last division on the list is arguably the most competitive division in the NFL: the NFC West. The division contains the rising Cardinals, the Matthew Stafford-led Rams, the ever-relevant Seahawks, and the TUFF 49ers. The NFC West appears to be the division to watch this season, but which team makes the best investment on SimBull NFL?
To begin, this division was difficult to rank. Putting the Rams at #4 should not indicate that they are a poor investment, as all of these teams are competitive and viable options for purchase. The Rams are fourth simply because of their price. Matt Stafford is an improvement over Jared Goff at quarterback and the Rams’ new-look offense under the genius coaching of Sean McVay will be scary, but LA remains the most expensive SimBull investment in the NFC West, so it remains stuck at fourth.
The Seahawks have been relevant and competitive for many years, but the team has been on the decline as of late. They are ranked third because they appear to be the worst team in the division right now, although not by much. At $32, their cost is cheap for a team that should compete, but the NFC West is so competitive that it remains to be seen how well the Seahawks stack up against their divisional opponents.
The only reason the 49ers fell short last year was because of rampant injury problems. This season, they are bringing back a stout defense and adding promising quarterback Trey Lance to their emerging offense. The team has the makings of a true Super Bowl contender, but they are only priced at $35, the 12th most expensive team in the league. When weighed against a team contending now and primed to contend in the future, the $35 cost is a steal.
This price is just too good to pass up. The Cardinals are well on their way to being one of the best teams in the NFC West. They have the potential to hang with any team while simultaneously developing their plethora of young talent, making their price point of under $30 even more tempting. They may not be the best team in the division, but they are the cheapest, and in a division of worthwhile investments, the Cardinals stand out as the best investment of the bunch.
