SimBull CFB Full Team Breakdown: University Of Southern California
Welcome to Vendetta’s SimBull CFB full team breakdowns, where the writers from Vendetta Sports Media will be analyzing all the Power 5 college football programs for their share value on SimBull and next up is the University of Southern California.
2020 Win Total: 5-1
2021 Projected Win Total: 8.5
On The Field:
In a shortened season last year, USC exceeded a lot of expectations by going 5-1 and being towards the top of the Pac-12 South. Coming into the 2021 season, Trojan fans had something to look forward to instead of always asking what’s wrong with the program. A tough loss to Stanford might have dampened spirits, but there is still a lot to like about this team. Kedon Slovis was injured in the game against Washington State, but Jaxson Dart came in and looked very good. There might be a Quarterback competition in-season this year for the Trojans. The offensive line returns four starters, which should help coming off a poor effort all around really in 2020 outside of Alijah Vera-Tucker. The defense should be fine, lead by a good to great secondary. USC just has to play smart football and not get too reckless and they can potentially get back to what they once were.
In The Market:
USC’s current share price on SimBull CFB is $49.29 which puts them in the top third of all teams on the site. They are surrounded by teams that are at a very good value (Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, Oregon to name a few) so it’s hard to sit here and tell you guys that USC is THE TEAM you have to have in your portfolio. I will say this: USC football might be on the come up with interim Head Coach Donte Williams. Let’s just hope they don’t let him walk if he has a great 2021 season like they did Ed Orgeron.
