2021 Projected Win Total: 11

On The Field:

On paper, this Ohio State football team is absolutely loaded. They have arguably the two best receivers in the country in Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson. The offensive line lost some talent but come on it’s Ohio State they have properly retooled. Master Teague in the backfield partnered with TreVeyon Henderson will be a dynamic duo this season for the Buckeyes. Their defense will be…fine. It isn’t the best defensive unit in Buckeyes history, but it will be more than serviceable in the BIg-10 East. The only question mark surrounding this team is Quarterback. Losing Justin Fields hurts but replacing him with C.J. Stroud and how he’s played to start the year hurts more. A loss to Oregon and letting Tulsa hang around for 2.5 quarters should put a little fear in the hearts of Buckeye fans. But hey, Quinn Ewers is waiting in the wings so there’s that.

In The Market:

On SimBull CFB, the current share price for Ohio State is $62.50, which is the highest share price on the site. Are there better value shares you can invest in? Obviously. There are better Big-10 options as well that can still return you a handsome price. But everyone knows Ohio State is good for 9 wins MINIMUM and more so if you are looking for short-term returns, this is your team. Just keep an eye on them, C.J. Stroud has me concerned for sure.
