The talent gap between the best of the best when it comes to coaching is massive. If you have established yourself among the top College Football coaches in NCAA, you’re set there for life basically. But among those “top tier” coaches are some frauds. Vendetta Sports Media is here to tell you some head coaches you should avoid investing in leading into the 2021 College Football Season. If you want to check out our article about coaches you SHOULD invest in on SimBull CFB, click here.
I don’t quite understand the love around Iowa State on SimBull CFB. They are ranked as the 5th highest team on the site, and that is way too high. I will admit they had a good season last year, getting as high as 9th in the AP poll and finishing 9-3 and winning the Fiesta Bowl. But Matt Campbell has yet to have a double digit winning season at ISU, and the second half of their season is brutal.
I can see 2 losses at minimum during that stretch, and if they falter early in the season, the investment in the Cyclones will be worthless.
I don’t like Brian Kelly. I don’t like Notre Dame. (Sorry Alex Chick) This team always seems to have high expectations going into every season, yet somehow find a way to disappoint their fans before looking strong at the end of the season. This will be their second year in the ACC for football and their schedule has a lot of questionable games on it for me.
Kelly does pull double digit wins in seasons, but the expectations and hype surrounding Notre Dame football year in and year out always falls short. I would advise spending your money elsewhere.
Listen, I am a USC fan. I have been for about a decade now or so. So it pains me to tell you that this USC team are going to be frauds this year (but I hope I’m wrong). They finished 5-1 in a shortened season last year, but Clay Helton has had a tumultuous tenure at USC and his last two seasons before then were underwhelming. This team has a lot of promise going into this season but there are a ton of question marks surrounding Helton. At $49 a share, there are just better value bets that you can make money on this season.
