There are so many differences between being a head coach in the NFL and in College Football. Recruiting is difficult and being able to go into people’s homes and convince teenagers and their families that you are what is best for them is not an easy task. James Franklin – Penn State ($49.02)
Franklin has been able to keep this program relevant despite its situation. After Bill O’Brien left for the Texans, Franklin took over and brought his SEC experience with him. They are not the best football program in the Big Ten with Ohio State in the conference, but Franklin has his team in the top three. With the room for growth in the overall CFB market, and Penn State a lock for six or seven wins, this team could be a great buy.
Ed Orgeron – LSU ($42.90)
Orgeron has finally found a long-term home down in Baton Rouge with the LSU Tigers. His team regressed after winning a National Championship with Joe Burrow in 2019, but they are looking to rebound in 2021. Orgeron is a coach that players get up for, and sometimes that is all college kids need to win. I expect his coaching staff to have it more together after losing Joe Brady to the Panthers, so at less than $43 dollars, this team could be a great buy as well.
Lane Kiffin – Ole Miss ($37.38)
Kiffin is on this list solely because of Karl Heiser’s best CFB buys from the power five conferences post. Kiffin put together a top 20 recruiting class, and Ole Miss can pick up additional wins playing an out-of-conference schedule again.
