We have a trade, folks. The Baltimore Ravens have acquired premier cornerback Marcus Peters for 2nd year linebacker Kenny Young. It would appear that the Rams have given up on Peters and sold low on him for an up and coming linebacker. With the trade deadline in Week 8, teams are starting to get active.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network was the first to break the news:

The Ravens obviously see a chance to buy low on a great player. When Peters is locked in, he’s one of the best corners in the NFL. Peters, 26, is currently playing on a
There is one concerning part about this trade. The Ravens have no linebackers. This defense has been hurting without CJ Mosley. Now they give up another one with Kenny Young. Young was a 4th round pick in 2018 out of UCLA and was a starting middle linebacker. Baltimore signed Josh Bynes off the street and obviously saw enough to think that parting with Young was worth it. Young will now go back home and likely start next to Cory Littleton.
The Rams do now have corner issues. Aqib Talib was placed on IR. Now Marcus Peters is gone. It’s down to Nickel Robey-Coleman, David Long, and Troy Hill. YIKES. The Rams might be in trouble and want to change up the locker room.
