People Owe The VGK An Apology For The Max Pacioretty Trade

Max Pacioretty is a bum and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. Pacioretty is hurt again and this time it’s probably for good after suffering a non-contact injury to the same leg he already suffered the torn Achilles on prior to the season.

The loser NHL fans can feel bad for Pacioretty. You never want to see a guy get hurt. However, I’d argue this is all just bad karma. Let’s never forget about what Pacioretty said about the Knights organization after the trade. Pacioretty could have just shut his mouth and moved on. Instead, he tried to make a mockery of the Golden Knights franchise. I’d argue that the only one that’s not accountable is Pacioretty. Hard to be accountable when you never play.

I don’t have an ounce of sympathy for Pacioretty. Karma sucks don’t it? Had Pacioretty made a major impact with the Canes, we would have never heard the end of future considerations. It would have been a non-stop parade of future considerations from the Twitter mob. Instead, it’s silence. They want you to feel bad for the same guy that they were ready to humiliate the Vegas franchise for.

There are thousands of Tweets like this. I could copy and paste them for hours. Not a single person that ripped that Golden Knights will admit they were wrong. Instead, it’s a pity party of feeling bad for the glass man. Can’t have it both ways.

This is a business. I don’t have sympathy for a guy making $7 million a year to be injured. Comes with the territory. Cry me a river. Next time don’t run your mouth. Had Pacioretty not said anything about Vegas on his way out the door, none of this would be necessary. Karma sucks and I won’t feel bad for those who went into attack mode and then cower when things don’t go their way.
