The Patriots just won the Super Bowl not too long ago so you would think that everything is sunshine and roses in New England. Welp, not so fast. A wild story just came out about Patriots owner Robert Kraft. The Pats owner has been charged with soliciting prostitution. What in the world!
TC Palm.com had the following:
“JUPITER — New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution in connection with a Florida spa tied to an international human trafficking ring, police said Friday.
The NFL owner was charged with paying for sexual services at Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter.
The spa was among 10 shut down in Orlando, Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast after a several-month investigation revealed women there were in “sexual servitude,” according to arrest records.
A detective said the acts were captured on surveillance video.
Kraft, 77, has not yet been arrested on the misdemeanor charges, according to the Jupiter Police Department.”
The Patriots have played in 10 Super Bowls since Kraft bought the team. Kraft bought the team for $172 million in 1994 and now the franchise is worth $6.6 billion. Probably because all the franchise does is win. Kraft may have been winning in the bedroom but he lost big today.
Whatever happens to Kraft, it’s not good news for the Patriots. His son Jonathan Kraft may be forced into ownership because of this.
UPDATE: It turns out that Kraft got a good ole fashion rub and tug at a massage parlor. I no longer care about this story.
UPDATE: Turns out that there is trafficking charges now. I don’t know what’s happening. I guess stay tuned for updates?
