The Patriots Made Sam Darnold See Ghosts

Monday Night Football got ugly. The New England Patriots beat up on the New York Jets 33-0. Sam Darnold threw for 85 yards and 4 interceptions. It was bad in every sense of the word. The New England Patriots continue to dominate on the defensive side of the ball. Opposing teams struggle to even pick up first downs on them. There was one defining moment from that game.

That’s coaching right there. Sam Darnold was seeing ghosts. Players were in spots they shouldn’t have been. Free rushers were in his face all night. I’m not sure Darnold made a throw where he was ever on platform. Nobody was ever open. His receivers outside of Robby Anderson suck, to begin with. Anderson was shadowed by Stephon Gilmore and taken out of the game anyway. The offensive line is hot garbage. Le’Veon Bell has been one of the worst backs in football. When you add all that up, the ghosts absolutely feel real. This Jets team is lost.

This game kind of looked like Troy playing Alabama and Troy had a great quarterback prospect. This game was going to be a blow out regardless of how Darnold played. The Jets were completely outmanned, outcoached and outgunned. This Jets roster might be the worst overall roster in the NFL minus Miami. Trust me, I use them in Madden. They’re god awful.

The Patriots are looking unstoppable. Especially in a terrible AFC. The names on the back of the jerseys change. The results never do. The Patriots have allowed one rushing touchdown and two passing touchdowns all year. That’s dominant stuff. This defense may go down in the history books and it’s all on the mad scientist, Bill Belichick.
