In case you missed it, Oklahoma has named Jim Nagy the new general manager of Oklahoma. I just want to know if OU Athletic Director Joe Castiglione smokes meth because there is no way any reasonable person with a brain would entrust Nagy to run their program.
Nagy is a scumbag. Has been since day one when he was entrusted to run the Senior Bowl. Frankly, things got so bad that I questioned why the Senior Bowl didn’t fire him after his latest incident. How anyone could have watched Nagy run the Senior Bowl and then wanted him to run their collegiate program is pretty hilarious on all accounts.
Think I’m being harsh? Answer me this. Oklahoma is now in the heart of the SEC. They’re challenged with winning games in the hardest conference in America. The Sooners are tasked winning games in that Conference and are going to bring Brent Venables and Nagy to the table. Venables is already a disaster. The real question is how long does Nagy pull the power strings and gets Venables fired? That’s the real question.
Mark my words. Oklahoma will continue to suck and have no prayer at actually competing in the SEC. Venables and Nagy. What a laughable combination. By the way… have you seen Oklahoma’s schedule this year? They’re going to get whooped over and over again. Someone needs to check out Castiglione because there is no way that he made this decision sober. I refuse to believe it.
