Paul George Puts Podcast P On Hiatus After Sucking With 76ers

Paul George officially has rabbit ears.

Ryen Russillo recently called out George and essentially said he should be embarrassed and can’t believe he’s still doing the podcast.

“He is incredibly disappointing,” Russillo said. “He’s so bad right now that I can’t even believe he’s doing podcasts.”

“I would just be so embarrassed. Obviously that’s not going to happen, but I would be embarrassed being a dude who comes in with a four-year max (contract) and [it’s] like, ‘we need you to be the guy with all this Embiid stuff,’” Russillo said. “Even if he’s older and all this different stuff, Year 1, this is what it looks like?

The timing can’t be a coincidence because shortly after, George announced the show is going on hiatus.

VIA Wednesday’s edition of Podcast P:

“It’s no secret that this season is, up to this point, it hasn’t been what we envisioned,” George said.

“I know my goal when I first signed with Philadelphia was to bring a championship to these amazing fans here. I still remain positive about that, and that is still the case and where I’m coming from. With that being said, though, I want to let the Podcast P family know that after today’s episode … I plan to take a break from the pod just to focus on getting my body right, getting mentally right, and help this squad make a push toward our goal to finish the season out and give ourselves a chance to be in contention to compete for a championship.”

Philadelphia is 20-37, sitting 12th in the NBA’s Eastern Conference and George has been trash pretty much all year. Even in the games Joel Embiid has sat out, George hasn’t taken over a single game. After signing a four-year max with Philly, the 76ers feel totally screwed.

By the way, his show sucks too. It’s hard to take him seriously when he’s playing this bad and trashing other guys in the league. Maybe look yourself in the mirror, dude. This move had to be done.
