Patrick Beverley is a scumbag, let’s just get that out of the way right at the top of this. I am loving reading the backlash he has been getting after his incredulous actions last night after the Bucks’ embarrassing loss to Indiana. However, I did not expect the best reaction to be from smooth-brained Nick Wright. Wright in his own right (wordplay) is a total embarrassment, but he went scorched earth on Beverley today and I loved every second of it.
This is exceptional work by Nick Wright. He does not do a lot of things well, but the receipts he had dating back to the Houston days for Patrick Beverley were incredible. Talking about the fake chains, how he is a known loser on the court, and calling out his actions towards media members way before last night. Wright came correct and did not miss. Like these are the type of things that warrant it being on-site, but if we have learned anything from watching Beverley work, it will likely just be a soft Twitter beef.
I had no idea they were televising the circus over the last 24 hours, as the talking points today have been about nothing but clowns, but I will say watching two people I cannot stand enter into a battle of words is going to be something to behold. Patrick Beverley is getting dragged today all over social media, and for good reason, but if you had told me that Nick Wright would be the one leading the charge and in such a great fashion, I wouldn’t have believed you. This should lead to incredible viewing for the next few days, and I will be glued to my screen to see if Beverley issues a response in the coming days.
