The NFL Network Broadcast For The Combine Sucks

As many of you already know, I spent the last few days covering the Combine. I’m really tired and it’s a lot of mileage on the eyeballs. I don’t ask for much. It just doesn’t feel like a big ask to be entertained while I’m watching 35-plus hours of Combine coverage. In what is arguably the biggest NFL Draft event on a yearly basis, we have to have a talk about what NFL Network is doing about it.

I’m not going to spend all day on this. Although I could. The blog would just be a 20-minute read and nobody got time for that. So, I’ll just go over a few of the more bothersome examples from the event this year.

Sorry, not sorry, but Rich Eisen is a creep.

This is only a small snippet. There was at least 30 minutes of talk on this from Eisen. It got borderline gross on the broadcast. Am I here to watch the players work out and showcase their talent or am I watching this to here about how Eisen wants to jack off a cow? Because that’s what it felt like during the tight end workout.

That’s adding in the fact that every time a Michigan player took the field he had a weiner in his mouth. It was so out of hand. I get being a fan and pushing a narrative but this was way beyond that. I was appalled. Like this dude is really creepy and I have no idea how anybody thinks he’s funny.

Charles Davis brings nothing to the table. He may as well be Chat GPT disguised as a black man so that they have the proper quota during the broadcast. He literally does nothing except copy what everybody else says. He’s like a robot that needs his AI refined.

Peter Schrager is a dork. What exactly does he do other than get horny off texting people that try to feet him false information.

Honestly, the real problem is Daniel Jeremiah. He’s a noticeable downgrade over Mike Mayock, who failed horribly with the Raiders. Jeremiah is so damn boring. He runs out of material on each player after a 10-second blurb while they’re running the 40s. He’s also dumb as a rock and brings zero insight to the table. Was anything more embarrassing than thinking Audric Estime was fast?

NFL Network needs to do better. We all deserve better than this trash product they put out. I would be embarrassed if my NFL Draft content was this bad and they should be too.
