Daniel Jeremiah Just Proved He Doesn’t Watch Prospect Tape
The NFL Combine is one of the best events of the off-season. It is a time when we can sit and watch prospects from all over the country come in and work out for scouts and the media guys like myself and the fine folks at Vendetta. However, the 2024 NFL Combine is marred with terrible commentating, headlined by Daniel Jeremiah, the most dull human to ever grace a microphone. Jeremiah should not be allowed in the booth next year because of how boring he is, but what’s worse is he just proved he doesn’t watch any tape on the players.
I do not understand how you can watch Notre Dame’s Audric Estime run the football and think to yourself, “Man, he ran a 4.72 and I thought he would be faster”. How? He runs straight up and has cinderblocks attached to his feet. In case you were wondering, Estime had the slowest 40-yard dash time of all running backs who did the drill this year. Estime is a bowling ball, not in a good way, and Daniel Jeremiah and Charles Davis BOTH expected him to be faster. Come on, now.
Trey tried to tell you guys at the beginning of the season not to take Audric Estime seriously, and it’s because he’s slow. Yet the all-knowing Daniel Jeremiah somehow watched him this year and believed he would be in the 4.5s. He brought it up at least three times on the broadcast today, and he’s just further proving that he has no idea what he is talking about and doesn’t watch the tape. Luckily, I stopped listening to his scouting opinions years ago, and I implore you to do the same. Once you realize that this dope has no clue, the better off you’ll be.
