The NFC East is The Most Entertaining Division in Football.

NFC East
(Vincent Carchietta, USA Today Sports)

The NFC East is the most entertaining division in the NFL. Not only is everyone in the division within a half-game of first. But there is a very viable chance for any of the four teams to make it.

The NFC East is Horrible but Fun at the Same Time.

The Eagles after Sunday’s loss to the Browns still have the lead in the division at 3-6-1. The Giants, Cowboys, and Washington Football Team are all at 3-7 and sit a half-game back of the division lead. Yes, these records are abysmal, however, someones got to win it.

It would be something if the winner of this division wins a playoff game. There are no other divisions in the NFL that all have their teams within one game of each other. Who is winning this division? That is the prime question here.

The team with the better record in the division is gonna be the one to win. Because the play outside of the division is just disgraceful and as of right now the New York Giants have the best record within the division at 3-2. The Eagles had a chance to run away with the division after the bye week. However, they couldn’t have played worse.

A Quick Breakdown of Each Team in the Divison.

Carson Wentz leads the NFL in turnovers, The offense is stuck in the mud and just continues to shoot themselves in the foot. Wentz fails to use his legs more and continues to blindly trust his terrible team with helping him. Doug Pederson has not been doing a good job with this team coming out of the bye week losing two straight is not how you win the division.

The Giants are the hottest team in the division two straight wins over Washington and Philadelphia have the Giants right back after starting 1-7. Joe Judge has coached the hell out of that scrappy group. Daniel Jones hasn’t turned the ball over in two straight games. That’s a miracle in and of itself.

The Cowboys have been spiraling out of control since Dak Prescott was done for the year. Going through a laundry list of QB’s until their true backup Andy Dalton returned from a concussion and COVID on Sunday. The Cowboys finally got back in the win column beating a Vikings squad that was on absolute fire winning three straight.

The Washington Football Team has the best defensive line in the division. With Alex Smith now getting the nod going forward the Football Team has a proven veteran to lead this team. Along with breakout stars in Antonio Gibson and Terry McLaurin, they are not an easy out.

The NFC East is going to come down to the wire and could come down to a Week 17 matchup with the Giants and Cowboys. Or a Week 17 matchup between the Eagles and Washington. The end of the season will no doubt be fun for these teams and fans of the NFC East.
