Neymar Return to Barca

Last summer there were big talks about if Neymar would leave Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Although an agreement was made between PSG and Barcelona FC, the signing fell through. However, Neymar might return to Barca this summer.

According to AS reports, there is a deal in the works for Neymar to finally leave. PSG has agreed to let him go back to Barca if they are willing to pay €170 million in transfer fees.

The salary agreed upon last year between Barca and the player would remain the same. However, the transfer fee is a big issue. The economic impact that all teams are facing has changed transfers for the summer.

Barca could try and pay the transfer fees in full, or offer a trade. It is no secret that Barca is trying to find a new home for Antoine Griezmann. PSG has already reached out to Griezmann to see his situation at Barca. They are also trying to transfer off Ousmane Dembele. Barca could offer a trade of Griezmann and Dembele for Neymar. The trade would appease many Barca supporters.

It could also help PSG. Edinson Cavani left, and there are rumors that Kylian Mbappe may also be on his way out.

Mourinho Problems With VAR

Neymar’s transfer could also help with Barca’s apparent failure of this season. It has left Real Madrid in the grasps of winning the La Liga title this year. And they are still a competitor for Champions League.

Neymar going back to Barca could reignite the team. Although Ligue 1 has ended, Neymar was able to get 18 goals and 10 assists in 22 games.
