Marvin Harrison Jr: 2024 NFL Draft WR1 Lock?

We knew that Marvin Harrison Jr. was probably going to be a stud based on how good his father was. But did we see this coming? I’m just going to say it because somebody has to. Harrison is the best wide receiver in college football and he’s a stone-cold lock to be the first one taken in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Did anybody else see that Penn State game? That’s a real secondary. Joey Porter Jr. might be the best cornerback in the Big 10. Porter didn’t cover super Marvin all game but… WOW what a performance. 10 catches for 185 yards and never broke a sweat. Guy got his any time he wanted. Those are real corners and it just didn’t matter.

The skillset is off the charts. Runs well. Looks huge at 6-foot-4, 205. Give it another year he will be at 215. Catches everything and makes the ball his. Your eyes are not lying to you. I think we’re talking Calvin Johnson level good.

This feels as can’t miss as can’t miss gets. It’s Marvin Harrison’s son. This is another stud wide receiver at Ohio State when all they do is produce good ones. He’s carrying an offense that is missing Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Harrison just rag-dolled a Penn State secondary featuring a first round corner. What exactly am I missing here? Is there anything more we even need to talk about? Is there anything to miss?

Also, what’s the competition? Sure, there will be a risers next year but outside of Brock Bowers, nobody is even worth considering in terms of pass catchers. Right now you’re looking at Ja’Corey Brooks and Beaux Collins. Neither are close to Harrison Jr.

This is as obvious as a call as it gets and more people need to start talking about it. Marvin Harrison Jr. is bound for Canton and I just can’t see how this isn’t a top five pick two years from now. He’s that good.
