Mark Murphy Calls Aaron Rodgers A “Complicated Fella”

Can we just file the divorce papers already with this one? Aaron Rodgers hates the Packers front office. The Packers front office makes it really hard to be liked. The Packers say they really want Rodgers back in the building but somehow unintentionally dig their own grave over and over again. This next story is just down right funny.

Packers CEO Mark Murphy made comments at a Lambeau Field event calling his quarterback “a complicated fella”. WTF?

“I’m often reminded though… of Ted Thompson, as most of you know, just a great general manager, passed away (earlier this year),” Murphy said. “(Thompson) often talked about Aaron, that he’s a… and it wasn’t just Aaron, a lot of different players. He would say ‘He’s a complicated fella.'”

You know my theory on this by now. Jordan Love sucks or the Packers would be more willing to trade Rodgers. They know Love stinks and or isn’t ready. Therefore, they won’t trade Rodgers. However, Rodgers is under contract so they will call his bluff and try to get him to report to camp.

I don’t have an answer for you. If I’m Rodgers I wouldn’t have signed the extension. He can try to force a trade but the Packers are pricks. Jeopardy sounds cool and all but it isn’t worth retiring for.

So where do things go from here? For starters, maybe getting Murphy and the rest of the front office to shut up would be a start. Has Rodgers played his last game in Green Bay? This whole situation gets more awkward by the day.
