Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint 2024 NFL Draft Profile

Georgia is a football factory at producing NFL talent. With that said, will Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint become a household name at the NFL level? That’s what we’re here to talk about. Let’s get right down to business with his 2024 NFL Draft Profile.

We already did the Ladd McConkey profile. There is a pretty distinct difference between the two. Mainly being that McConkey is a significantly better mover than Rosemy-Jacksaint. With Rosemy-Jacksaint, he’s a pure win the ball at the catch point guy. Separation is his biggest question. Something that obviously makes his NFL future questionable, at best.

Rosemy-Jacksaint, listed as a four star prospect out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, took a while to get going with the Dawgs. He was basically non-existent as a freshman and sophomore. He had just 11 receptions in those two years combined. Finally got going a bit in 2022 notching 29 receptions for 29 receptions for 337 yards and two scores. Finished strong as a senior with 34 receptions for 535 yards and four touchdowns.

Obviously, the box score doesn’t blow you away. It’s not like Georgia was trailing much and had to throw either. Still, the raw numbers are underwhelming and was never a focal point of the Georgia offense. Mentioned him briefly in the Stock Report series after his two touchdown game against Tennessee. Has a skinnier frame and relies on making plays in the red area to help his team.

Checks in at 6-foot-1, 195, but 33 inch arms. Looks lanky. Didn’t run at the Combine and speed is a serious question mark here. Didn’t help himself at the Combine either. Play speed is just really slow. Not sure he works at the NFL level. Gets hit in the quicksand too. He can block in the run game. Very underwhelming at the Senior Bowl too.

Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint is a 7th rounder / priority free agent for me. Just way too limited athletically to go any higher. Maybe he can function as a depth piece in a wide receiver room. Just not a ton of like outside of having long limbs and being able to make plays with the ball in the air.
