The KAT & DLo Duo Won’t Work

Jimmy Butler was right about Karl-Anthony Towns. That man is Charmin ultra soft. You can’t win with him. KAT is a stat monster and doesn’t have a winning bone in his body. The Timberwolves traded for his best friend, D’Angelo Russell. It’s not shocking to find out that they are friends. The KAT & DLo duo won’t work.

Let’s call it how it is. If I said; Player X takes a lot of questionable shots, has a bunch of talent, and doesn’t play defense, who would I be talking about? In this instance, that phrase refers to both KAT and DLo.

Just by swapping out KAT for Gorgui Dieng, the Timberwolves are almost 12 points worse defensively. That 117.9 number isn’t just bad. That number would go down as the single worst defensive efficiency rate in the history of the sport. Dead serious… the worst ever.

Guess who isn’t going to be helping this? Good buddy, DLo. The same guy who said earlier this season he “needs to apply himself on defense”. Good luck Minnesota. By the way, that defensive rating number is with Robert Covington who is a former first team all defender. How does it look with Russell on the floor instead? Big Yikes.

I love watching the UFC. One of my favorites things to do is to try to figure out where the fighter sits mentally before a fight. Conor McGregor lost that fight to Khabib Nurmagomedov before it ever happened. Jose Aldo lost that fight to McGregor before it ever happened. You can see who has the eye of the tiger and who does not.

This is embarrassing. Whatever the antonym is for “eye of the tiger” that’s what these two clowns are. You can just see by the way these guys talk. Calling these two guys “Charmin Ultra Soft” would be disrespectful to Charmin. I don’t think it was a coincidence that the Warriors traded Russell. I don’t think they could wait longer. I can’t wait to see them get torched and give up 150 a night.
