Since the Semi Final win is essentially locked up at this point, we will do these two at a time until the Finals are here. Hockey Guy Trey recap will include the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday matchups from the first week fo the Semi.
At the end of Saturday, Icing Daubert currently commands an 82.8 point lead. We’re combining some of these clips because we’re ready for the Finals.
Thursday:
Thursday we actually lost some of the lead. This was the only day we have been outscored so far. The biggest story was the acquisition of Alex Tuch. We cut Lucas Raymond to do so. Well, Tuch delivered with a goal and an assist.
Sebastian Aho had two goals. Connor McDavid had a two point night. Robertson two assists. Teravainen kicked in with a goal.
Okay day but not a ton of excitement.
Friday:
Friday was the day to rebuild the lead. Pickup Dustin Tokarski came through picking up a lot of saves in a loss to the Panthers. Freddie Anderson also took a loss against the Islanders. No goals but Aho, Barkov (two), Huberdeau, and DeAngelo all picked up assists.
Saturday:
Max Pacioretty made his return to the Knights and scored in his first game back. It was an easy win for Vegas against the awful Coyotes. Jack Eichel found the back of the net again too.
Dylan Larkin and Huberdeau kicked in goals. Barkov, Patrik Laine, Shea Theodore, and Darnell Nurse also kicked in assists.
Markstrom got a win. Oettinger got a loss. Overall, this day seals what will be a victory.
