You Have No Morals If You Root For The Yankees To Win The World Series

The Ball Buster guys have big a big addition for us on the site. I love them from the bottom of my heart. Both Alex and Garrett are driven guys who love sports. Sometimes you gotta put the guys on your staff where they belong. Show them who’s boss. When I saw this tweet, I couldn’t believe my eyes.

The 2019 Yankees are one of the best teams ever? They’re not even the best team within the past year. C’mon Ball Busters. Do better.

Let’s forget the take for a second. I don’t care if the writers on my staff disagree with me. I just want smart people who can articulate their thoughts on an intelligent level. Forget about the fact that rooting for the Yankees is reserved for men (women excluded, of course. They can’t grow beards) who aren’t manly enough to grow facial hair. Then the important matter hit me. A bigger picture needed to be realized. This postseason isn’t about wins and losses. This is about morals, integrity, and woman’s rights. Nobody should be rooting for the Yankees this postseason.

Nobody employs more scumbags than the Yankees. Or at least the 2019 Yankees and that’s being generous. This is a roster with not one, but two players who have been suspended because of Domestic Violence. Let’s start with Aroldis Chapman. The Yankees closer is the first player ever to get suspended for Domestic Violence in baseball. Chapman got suspended 30 games for choking his girlfriend and firing 8 shots off with his gun.

It would be bad enough if this happened while Chapman was with the Yankees. That wasn’t the case. Chapman did this while he was a member of the Reds. Cincinnati is a team that was deprived of talent. They haven’t been good in forever. Even the Reds were sick to their stomach and got rid of him. Cincy moved off Chapman for pennies on the dollar and traded him to the Yankees. Despite the pending Domestic Violence charges, the Yankees traded for him anyway. That says a lot about who gm Brian Cashman is. He doesn’t care if you’re a scumbag. He’s the biggest hoarder in baseball. Cashman is the epitome of Mr. Krabs. Cashman was foaming at the mouth when Chapman got accused of domestic violence. That just meant the price tag for him went down. He doesn’t care about women.

Aroldis Chapman doesn’t care about women. Brian Cashman doesn’t care about women. Guess who else doesn’t care about women? Yankees owner, Hal Steinbrenner. He doesn’t care what Chapman did. He just wants you to forget about it.

Oh, no, Hal. I will not forget because I actually respect women. I’m pro–feminism. The Yankees organization starting from the top sure as hell is not. They’re more interested in domestic abuse and having sandwiches made for them. Dear Yankees fans, this is the owner you’re rooting for. This is the general manager you’re rooting for. This is the closer you’re rooting for. Pinstripe Pride? The Yankees have no pride. They do not care about character.

This would be bad enough if it was just one player on the roster. Oh, no, there’s more. Domingo German slapped his girlfriend in the face. I’ll share an excerpt of staff writer Justin Ellick’s article that was recently published:

“If the tweet above proves to be true, then the incident most likely occurred at C.C. Sabathia’s charity event of which the ENTIRE TEAM was present. I mean this is really as bad as it gets, folks. If this turns out to indeed be fact, then Domingo will not be a New York Yankee a week from now. That’s a guarantee. On top of all of this, the man pitched a day later on Wednesday night, which makes the organization as a whole look pretty terrible. I’m aware that this news wasn’t available to the public until today, but according to Boone’s comments on the matter, the team had some type of idea of what exactly transpired Monday night.”

See, that’s interesting because it’s been a week. German is still a member of the New York Yankees. He’s just been placed on the commissioner’s exempt list for the remainder of the season. That will get spined into what will be his suspension. We have already seen a track record of how the Yankees will handle this. German will be welcomed back with open arms and Hal Steinbrenner will tell you to forget about it. He just slapped his girlfriend in the face. No big deal. That’s what Hal wants you to believe.

This is not a likable Yankees team. It’s an organization filled with scumbags that don’t respect women. Aroldis Chapman doesn’t respect women, Brian Cashman doesn’t respect women, Hal Steinbrenner doesn’t respect women, and Domingo German doesn’t respect women. Don’t be a scumbag. Don’t support an organization that is okay with laying a hand on a woman. This is about morals and you have none if you root for the Yankees to win the World Series.
