Giannis Antetokounmpo Will Not Talk About Free Agency

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the 5-10 best players in the NBA. Therefore, the media will salivate over his free agency. Keep in mind, Giannis won’t hit the open market for two more years. Doesn’t matter. The NBA fanboys will lose their minds because they have nothing to talk about. Giannis doesn’t plan to help their cause. He’s refusing to talk about it.

“I’m not gonna talk about it a lot this season, and I’m not going to try to address it,” said Antetokounmpo, the NBA’s reigning MVP, of what could happen next summer…
“I feel like if you have a great team, and our goal is to win a championship and be the last team standing and get better each day, I think it’s disrespectful towards my teammates talking about my free agency and what I’m going through,” Antetokounmpo said. “So when the time is right, we’re all gonna talk about it. I don’t think the time is right.”

We just gotta make a pact or something in the NBA. No free agency talk until after the NBA Finals. Can we do that? It doesn’t seem so hard. Better yet, let’s make a rule. What are we doing here? Why is this a topic? I can’t stand the NBA sometimes. They have nothing to talk about.

The Knicks Were The Only Team Not To Scout Giannis Antetokounmpo In Greece

I’m interested to see how the Bucks are this year. Robin Lopez comes in. Nikola Mirotic and Malcolm Brogdon go out. Brogdon is a huge loss. In hindsight, they probably should have paid him instead of Eric Bledsoe. The Bucks enter the season as the favorites to come out of the East. Philadelphia, Boston, and Indiana are top competition. Brooklyn is a year away with the pending return of Kevin Durant.
