Frank Gore Jr Doesn’t Believe Were 257 Players Better Than Him

Undrafted running back and current Buffalo Bill Frank Gore Jr doesn’t believe there were 257 better players in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The son of NFL legend Frank Gore (as if it wasn’t obvious enough already) went undrafted and eventually signed with the Buffalo Bills as a UDFA.

“It pushed me a lot,” Gore said. “I feel like there’s no way 257 people are better than me in this draft, but now that process is over, I’m a Bill, and I’m here to compete. I’m here to push my teammates and push the running back room and try to get on special teams.”

There were 19 running backs taken in the NFL Draft and Gore had to hear those players’ names being called while he was hoping for the phone call. Vendetta ranked Gore Jr as the 8th best running back in this year’s draft class.

Throughout his four seasons at Southern Mississippi, Frank Gore Jr rushed for 4022 yards and 26 touchdowns. Gore Jr also had 692 receiving yards, alongside 3 reception touchdowns.

Gore Jr will have to fight for playing time, as the RB1 spot in Buffalo is being occupied by Pro Bowler James Cook, who rushed for 1122 yards last season and had 445 receiving yards.

In the video, the undrafted running back said that he would try and get on special teams. Showing that he won’t be trying to reach too high off the rip, but enough for him to get on the roster and get reps in.

Even though he wasn’t drafted, read Vendetta’s grades about how the Buffalo Bills did in the 2024 NFL Draft!!!!!
