Font’s Five is here for a special Thanksgiving Day edition of my weekly picks. For those of you keeping score, we went 2-3 last week which brings our overall record to 12-10-3.
It wasn’t a good weekend two of our normal cover machines failed to do so. And The Cincinnati Bengals lost Joe Burrow meaning we lost a cover machine in the Bengals.
However, fear not because Thanksgiving will be a great day for bettors and we will win this day. Let’s get it going.
Houston Texans -2.5, Dashuan Watson has been playing out of his mind since Bill O’Brian got fired. The Texans overall have been playing much better. The Detriot Lions got their asses kicked by an XFL quarterback in PJ Walker on Sunday so give me the Texans. Also, let’s mention that the Lions have been up and down all season, but I think this is where they really hit rock bottom.
Washington Football Team +3, Alex Smith, Antonio Gibson, and Tery McLaurin played a good game against the Bengals on Sunday. Going up against the Dallas Cowboys with Andy Dalton. I do not doubt that Dallas completely implodes and gets shredded apart. The Cowboys suck and ill take the better defense which is the Washington Football Team.
Pittsburgh Steelers -4.5, The Steelers are a covering machine. They actually are the King of covering. The Steelers are 9-2 against the spread and playing the Ravens at home with the Ravens really struggling right now. The Steelers should be a no-brainer in this spot. Who knows what happens with the recent Covid tests of Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins, but should the game be played take the Steelers.
The picks are in we will win this day and we will have victory turkey and stuffing. The books are in trouble for this one. Let’s get out there and win the week. Happy Thanksgiving!
