Elon Musk Announces Bizarre New Feature on Twitter
On March 19, Elon Musk announced a new update for Twitter. The social media site that Musk purchased on October 27, 2022, has experienced plenty of shakeups since then. Musk’s updates and features have left a lot of people baffled or perplexed. But this new “feature” Musk has announced might just take the cake for the sheer absurdity of it all.
Contacting [email protected] will now auto-respond with a poop emoji.
A Joke?
Musk is known for his strange sense of humor and random posts about nothing. This new feature could just be another one of those strange jokes of his. But on Twitter these days, it can be difficult to see if he really is joking or not.
Regardless, this tweet of his has already divided the userbase. Though that isn’t difficult to do on Twitter. With users decrying the change or standing in support of the tech mogul. Complaining or praising the change as something to be disgusted or to be cheered for.
A Permanent Change?
Changes under Musk can range wildly in their constancy. Some are fleeting while others are set in stone. You can never truly tell with Musk and with Twitter these days. But with a change like this one, it would be assumed that it would be removed, eventually. But you can just never truly tell.
For now having poop emojis guaranteed is here to stay. But when or if it get’s replaced or removed is still up in the air. But what is for certain is that the weirdness and changes that Twitter has been experiencing the past six months won’t be going away any time soon.
