JOE FLACCO IS ELITE AND I DON’T CARE WHAT ANYBODY SAYS. YOU CAN’T TAKE 2013 AWAY FROM ME! I WILL NEVER FORGET.
Okay, I’m back. Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest. Where were we? Oh, yes, Joe Flacco. Well, it’s not 2013 anymore and Flacco is currently the Jets primary backup quarterback. Oddly enough, Flacco will likely get the chance to suit up against his old team Week 1 with Zach Wilson being injured.
Flacco is always going to be a polarizing quarterback in the league with his fair share of haters. We just never knew until now that his own kids think he stinks.
“I come home and my kids are like, ‘Dad you stink,’” Flacco, 37, said during the Aug. 30 episode of “One Jets Drive” on the team’s YouTube channel.
“You guys lost again? I’m trying to tell my son about you know, ‘Listen, when you’re hitting the ball, you gotta be able to get your timing right.’ Well, you stink!”
Tough crowd. It’s one thing dealing with haters. It’s another when your own kids are trashing you. That video was lowkey funny but the fact that it’s Flacco makes this video pure gold.
Hey, a win against the Ravens in Week 1 would go a long way towards proving his kids wrong. Flacco is on his last legs and needs to start stringing together positive starts or the end could be sooner rather than later. Flacco is 0-5 as the Jets fill-in starter.
Flacco may not give his kids faith but Jets head coach Robert Saleh certainly disagrees.
Joe Flacco and his wife Dana have five children. The two got married as high school sweethearts in New Jersey and have been married since 2011. Four of the kids are male including Stephen, Daniel, Francis, and Thomas. Evelyn is the lone girl. We’re not talking about just one or two haters. Flacco has an entire army hating on his skills. It’s tough scenes out here for our former savior.
